No BULLying Run
Please visit https://runsignup.com/Race/PA/Jamison/NoBullyRun to register for our 10th Annual NO BULLying Run. The event will take place in October to coincide with National Bullying Awareness Month. The event will be virtual as we run, walk, stroll, or roll, collecting miles through October 31st. The goal will be to work together to log 22,808 miles against bullying, with each mile representing one child who will be bullied in Bucks County this year*. We are excited to continue to grow this event that not only helps to spread awareness and address the issues of bullying, but also raises funds for NOVA’s prevention programs.
At NOVA, we believe that education is the key to prevention and for more than 35 years, NOVA staff have been providing FREE prevention education programs to tens-of-thousands of students on topics such as personal safety, healthy relationships, harassment, cyberbullying, and bully-free classrooms. NOVA programs are designed to be innovative, supportive, age-appropriate, and help children and teens build safety awareness, develop self-advocacy skills, and recognize resources available to them. Last year, NOVA provided nearly 500 prevention education programs to over 12,000 students!
Since 2013, NOVA’s annual NO BULLying Run has raised funds to provide prevention education programs in classrooms and community rooms throughout Bucks County. Last year, the event raised over $45,000 thanks to the generosity of our donors, participants, and sponsors, who helped to contribute to our success.
