The event will take place in October to coincide with National Bullying Awareness Month. The event will be virtual as we run\, walk\, stroll\, or roll\, collectin g miles through October 31st. The goal will be to work together to log 22\ ,808 miles against bullying\, with each mile representing one child who wi ll be bullied in Bucks County this year*. We are excited to continue to gr ow this event that not only helps to spread awareness and address the issu es of bullying\, but also raises funds for NOVA’s prevention programs.\n \nAt NOVA\, we believe that education is the key to prevention and for mor e than 35 years\, NOVA staff have been providing FREE prevention education programs to tens-of-thousands of students on topics such as personal safe ty\, healthy relationships\, harassment\, cyberbullying\, and bully-free c lassrooms. NOVA programs are designed to be innovative\, supportive\, age- appropriate\, and help children and teens build safety awareness\, develop self-advocacy skills\, and recognize resources available to them. Last ye ar\, NOVA provided nearly 500 prevention education programs to over 12\,00 0 students!\n\nSince 2013\, NOVA’s annual NO BULLying Run has raised fun ds to provide prevention education programs in classrooms and community ro oms throughout Bucks County.
