Sign Ins will begin at 1:30 pm. We will be offering a FREE brief informational talk by a Master Gardener about the importance of pollinator gardens and the removal of invasive plants and planting trees, shrubs and ground cover.
These conservation projects are a joint program where volunteers and staff work together to care for the park. Learn all the things the Friends of Beltzville Volunteers do to enhance our park. Donations welcome.
Celebrate Earth Day the hiking way! Join the Friends of Beltzville, for a FREE EARTH DAY HIKE. This is family and dog friendly hike, well-behaved pets on a leash are welcome to attend. We’ll be meeting at the Environmental Interpretive Center (EIC) for the hike. We will hike from the Beltzville State Park Environmental Interpretive Center (EIC) along the shoreline, tree ID trail and Ground Pine Trail Complex. This hike will be approximately a 2.5 to 3 miles (easy-to-moderate). Please wear sturdy walking/hiking shoes, and bring water. Length of time: Approximately One hour.
***Please note that limited parking is available at the EIC. Additional parking is available in Parking Lot C, near the beach.
