Lackawanna River Heritage Trail

We are back in action with our Trail of the Month program! Each month, we will feature a trail in the NEPA area. This month, every time that you exercise on the Lackawanna River Heritage Trail and enter it on your GYTOT account, you will receive one “raffle ticket” for the chance to win a gift card to a bike shop in Scranton (more prize info below)!

For example, if you make two trips to the Lackawanna River Heritage Trail, you will get two tickets. If you go five times over the course of the month you will get five tickets… and on and on. See more info below on how to log your miles.

Reminder: you don’t need to ride the whole trail – any time spent on the trail is good for an entry!

Where?? October 2020: Lackawanna River Heritage Trail

The Lackawanna River Heritage Trail stretches more than 70 miles along the flowing Lackawanna River in the Northeastern PA mountains. The trail connects more than 30 communities (including Carbondale, Scranton, and Pittston) through Luzerne, Lackawanna, Susquehanna and Wayne County. It’s a great place for for walkers, runners, cyclists, and paddlers alike to enjoy the diverse terrain and natural beauties of the area.

How do I log my my miles?

Same as you would for your normal Get Your Tail on the Trail account. When you get to step 3, for location, select Lackawanna River Heritage Trail from the drop down. You need to select this in order to get your raffle ticket!

Each entry on the Lackawanna River Heritage Trail will grant you one “raffle ticket”. We will have the drawing at the end of the month to determine our winners. There will be 1 GRAND Prize and 2 runner up prizes.

Grand Prize (1): $100 gift card to Cedar Bicycles

Runner up Prizes (2): $20 gift card to Cedar Bicycles
