WILKES-BARRE FAMILY YMCA

Learn how the Wyoming Valley Sanitary Authority tracks and manages storm and sanitary water for residents; visit the Market Street Combined Sewer Overflow and look inside. Walk Leader: Rob Krehely, WVSA 

  • Wear comfortable shoes and bring water
  • In the event of extreme heat or rain, the walk will be postponed to the following day at the same time
  • Departing promptly at 6:00 pm from the YMCA lobby

 

Y Walk Wednesdays is a series of free, guided evening walks featuring downtown neighborhoods, history, walking and health, architecture, wildlife and new development in Wilkes-Barre. The 2024 165 Challenge begins May 1 and runs through November 10th this year. Log 165 miles during this time to earn this challenge.
