Winter is officially out. Spring is here and South Bethlehem is celebrating with an outdoor Spring on the SouthSide festival on Saturday, April 27, 2024.  The event will start at 12 PM behind Touchstone Theatre at 321 E 4th St, Bethlehem, PA 18015 with an opening ceremony celebrating the theatre’s new mural, Touchstonium Flos, by artist Monica Salazar.

Food by Roasted Bethlehem,  music by singer-songwriter Melody Cruz, and other festival activities will run between 12:30-3 PM on the South Bethlehem Greenway between Adams & Taylor Streets and include artmaking, art tours, exercise classes, children’s activities, and more.

Interested festival goers can pre-register to reserve their spot at a free yoga class by The Yoga Loft of Bethlehem, a free zumba class, or for a guided walking tour of Lehigh University Art Galleries Bodies of Knowledge Artswalk exhibition. There will also be a special family read-along activity of the book “Rosie’s Special Gift” by local author, Veronica Moore. The first 25 families that register for the read-along will receive a free copy of the book plus a nursery plant to take home!
