Get Your Tail on the Trail

For this Tail on the Trail hike will meet at Main Park Office at Lackawanna State Park and carpool to the Rowlands Road Access.

We will walk along the South Branch of the Tunkhannock Creek and make our way to the Messimer Preserve, part of the Countryside Conservancy.

This is a fairly flat route, but can be muddy in places. Distance is about 2.5 miles out and back.
