“National Trails Day” Hike & Bike Event

The Hike & Bike Event is a completely free event in honor of National Trails Day. The event takes place in the Greater Hazleton Rails to Trails parking lot off Route 93 near the intersection of Route 424, southeast of the Lehigh Valley Hospital Hazleton. Provided at the event are food, an environmental walk, interesting exhibits, informative displays, raffle baskets, entertainment, children’s bicycle helmet give away, and activities for children. There is parking for bikers and hikers at the Degenhart Health center parking lot at 1749 E Broad Street, Hazleton. Come out and join the activities and be sure to take a hike or bicycle ride on Greater Hazleton Rails to Trails.
