Mountain Bike Adventure
What: Mountain Bike Adventure, riding the D&H Trail from Ararat Trailhead to Bucks Falls, a 20-mile round trip adventure exploring the beautiful Trail following the railroad through Ararat, and Thompson and ending at beautiful Bucks Falls in Starrucca. Its breathtaking scenery, through the “backwoods” following the rail line. You will see lakes, ponds, streams, fields, fieldstone walls and forests…camera worthy! We will be riding on unimproved trail, so you will need a mountain bike. Please bring a lunch, we will be dining on a rock by the falls.
Where: We will be meeting at the Rail Trail Office, 948 N Main Street, Union Dale at 7:15 AM, to get signed-in and purchase food supplies at Cable’s General Store, right next to the office. We will caravan to Ararat Trailhead at 7:30 for an 8 AM start.
It is an OUTDOOR experience that will just make YOU feel better.
