Larksview Feed The Need 5K Walk/Run and Superhero Fun Run
Come join Larksview on the D and L trails for a fun morning with the whole family. Your participation will raise money to help feed hungry kids in need. Hugh Moore Park is a perfect setting for participants of all skill levels, and for those just looking for a great time outdoors.
5K Early Registration through April 25th – $20
April 26-May 24th – $25
May 25th – $30
Children’s Fun Run – $10
All runners will be timed and medals will be given for those placing in 12 different age groups. Sign-in opens for all ages at 9:00 AM at the Canal Museum entrance.
Adult 5K starts at 10:00am. The route is beautiful, wide, flat, and off of all main roads.
The Kids Superhero Fun Run starts at 10:20 with a dedicated 1/2 mile route just for them. Costumes encouraged, and prizes will be given for most creative and best overall costumes. Stamps and prizes awarded to all youth participants, and the kids will meet some special super-friends at the end of the route.
Free T-Shirts to the first 75 registrants. The event is rain or shine. Please stick around and join us for food, drinks, baked goods, music, vendors and other fun activities after the walk/run.
Larksview Foundation has no paid staff. All volunteers pay there own expenses on medical trips. 100% of the money raised will go to provide infant formula for newborns and nutritional supplements including therapeutic high protein foods to severely malnourished children.
