ExploreDesigned specifically for intermediate hikers and mountain bikers, the Vista Trail is a loop that rewards you with the most spectacular views at the preserve. Named for a small outcropping that’s part of neighboring Camp Lackawanna’s property, the Vista Trail overlooks the Grist Flats in Mehoopany. Together, the preserve and camp create nearly 1,000 acres of contiguous preserved green space on the Vosburg Neck, one of the largest oxbows of the Susquehanna River.
ExploreThe Levee Loop Trail wraps around Brodhead Creek for four and a half scenic miles. A large portion is atop a levee that protects downtown Stroudsburg and East Stroudsburg from flooding. In fact, the levee was built after a destructive and dangerous flood in 1955.
ExploreThis non-motorized, recreational path currently has three segments: Clarks Summit to Dalton, La Plume to Dalton and La Plume to Factoryville. Eventually, the trail will connect Clark Summit to Lake Winola, spanning Lackawanna, Susquehanna and Wyoming Counties.
