April showers bring May challenges! Spring has sprung so it’s time to get your tail on the trail our 9th annual 165-Mile Challenge. Why 165 miles? That’s the length of the D&L Trail!

Explore the outdoors and enjoy the warmer weather and longer days to improve your physical fitness and mental health. Follow the Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage corridor on Facebook for D&L Trail conditions, events, and more. Step through history your virtual guide, the Wilkes-Barre Walkitecture app for Apple or Android.

Along the way, join St. Luke’s University Health Network (SLUHN) for a Virtual Walk with a Doc each week on their Facebook and Vimeo pages. Follow SLUHNWellNow on Facebook for healthy living tips.

Whether you like to paddle, bike, run, walk, or roll, our scenic Eastern Pennsylvania landscape has a trail for you! From the Lackawanna River Heritage Trail in Northeastern Pennsylvania (NEPA) to the Lehigh Valley’s THE LINK Trail Network and the Circuit Trails of Greater Philadelphia, countless adventures await you in our region.

The 2024 165 Challenge begins May 1 and runs through November 10th this year. Log 165 miles during this time to earn this challenge. Join us for our annual kickoff event at Sand Island in Bethlehem on May 5 at 1 pm. Its a free event, but we still ask that you sign up at https://tailonthetrail.org/events/165-kick-off/
