Home>Challenge>165 Mile D&L Challenge 2022

April showers bring May challenges! Spring has sprung so it’s time to get your tail on the trail and log miles for our 9th annual 165-Mile Challenge from May 1st to November 8th. Why 165 miles? That’s the length of the D&L Trail!

Explore the outdoors and enjoy the warmer weather and longer days to improve your physical fitness and mental health. Follow the Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage corridor on Facebook for D&L Trail conditions, events, and more. Log your miles in the historic canal or on the towpath at the National Canal Museum, which offers paddleboat, canoe, kayak, and bike rentals.

Along the way, join St. Luke’s University Health Network (SLUHN) for a Virtual Walk with a Doc each week on their Facebook and Vimeo pages. Follow SLUHNWellNow on Facebook for healthy living tips.

Whether you like to paddle, bike, run, walk, or roll, our scenic Eastern Pennsylvania landscape has a trail for you! From the Circuit Trails of Greater Philadelphia to the Lehigh Valley’s THE LINK Trail Network and the Lackawanna River Heritage Trail in Northeastern Pennsylvania (NEPA), countless adventures await you in our region.

Follow Get Your Tail on the Trail on Facebook to get motivated and share trail selfies with our community! If you’re a Northeastern Pennsylvania Chapter member, follow our NEPA Facebook page too.
