Celebrating 10 years of the 165-Mile Challenge

For 10 years, Get Your Tail on the Trail users have participated in the 165-mile Challenge logging millions of miles, across a variety of modalities. To celebrate 10 years of the 165-Mile Challenge we’re launching our NEW 10 for 10 badge. Users can earn this badge by earning any other 10 badges over the course of this year’s 165-mile challenge.

Whether you complete one of the many mileage badges (10 miles, 25 miles, 100 miles, etc.) or one of our many explorer badges, aim for this 10 badge milestone. Not sure where to start? In the GYTOT Dashboard, users can read more about badges they have not earned yet to see how they might earn their next one. Badges incentivize a variety of activities including trying new modalities, racking up miles, and exploring new locations.

Tired of your usual stomping grounds? We encourage users to take on one of the many location based badges to take their 165-Mile Challenge to new landscapes. Badges like the Luzerne, Wyoming, Pike, Lackawanna, Wayne, Susquehanna and Monroe County Trails badges encourage users to log miles on trails across the region. Eastern Pennsylvania offers hundreds of miles of trail across the state’s beautiful towns, cities and nature preserves, each offering a new challenge and sites to see. One of these badges might be just what you need to incorporate a new trail into your routine.

Super users rejoice, badges previously earned count towards the 10 for 10 badge. All badges count towards this badge to ensure that all of our overachievers will have the opportunity to earn this first of its kind golden badge. Be sure to share your achievements along the way with us using #tailonthetrail on Facebook and Instagram.
