Walk in Penn’s Woods – Pinchot Trail

This 4-5 mile hike, led by Forester Matthew Crosbie, will utilize portions of the Pinchot Trail and will highlight the scenic Choke Creek Falls.
There will be opportunities to discuss native trees and plants as well as local history.
While this moderate hike will be relatively flat, there will be rocky and brushy sections.
Please wear appropriate footwear and be prepared for a several hour hike.
Water and snacks are recommended.
This walk is not wheelchair or stroller friendly.
People-friendly leashed pets are allowed.
Meet at the Thornhurst Forest Maintenance Headquarters, 577 Bear Lake Road, Thornhurst, PA 18424 (41.20714, -75.60906) at 10:00am.
