SUMMARY:White Haven Tannery Walk: White Haven Trail Head
DESCRIPTION:Get Your Tail on the Trail is offering a free trail walking pro
 gram this year. Vary up your exercise routine and meet new people\, learn 
 new things\, and experience different areas of the D&amp\;L trail.\n\nJoin
  us as we explore the remnants of the Lehigh Tannery factory.  The walk w
 ill head south on the D&amp\;L Trail to the ruins of the Lehigh Tannery. T
 he tannery was the largest in the United States in the 1860s and 70s.  At
  its peak\, it produced 80\,000 hides per year.  Distance is approximatel
 y 3 miles roundtrip along flat terrain.  If there’s time\, we will head
  north of White Haven to see the remains of one of the Upper Grand Section
