DESCRIPTION:The final event in EMHR's Susquehanna County Hikes &amp\; Bikes
  Series will be a FREE and celebratory event on Saturday\, Oct. 15 from 10
  a.m. to 3 p.m. and held in partnership with the Rail-Trail Council of NEP
 A! With construction to be completed on the very northern section of the D
 elaware &amp\; Hudson (D&amp\;H) Rail-Trail\, it's the perfect time to hol
 d a ribbon cutting celebration and take a beautiful fall foliage ride alon
 g Pennsylvania's 2021 Trail of the Year!\nParticipants should meet at the 
 Olivia House (126 Rockwell Road) in Susquehanna for a ribbon cutting celeb
 ration kick off at 12 pm.\, which will include volunteers\, Rail-Trail Cou
 ncil board members\, project contributors\, and community members.\nAt 12 
 p.m.\, there will be a two-mile history walk along the trail to Brandt and
  back for those who would enjoy a comfortable stroll while learning about 
 the surprising history of the area. The bike ride will begin at 1 p.m. and
  participants will have the option of riding on their own or taking a guid
 ed tour with staff from the Rail-Trail Council of NEPA who will talk about
  the trail improvements\, history and other fun facts about the D&amp\;H.\
 nVendors on-site from noon to 3 p.m. at the event will include Chenango Po
 int Cycles\, Ray's Porketta Food Truck\, ice cream sandwiches from Susqueh
 anna Scoops\, free hot dogs from Schneider's Market for kids\, a bounce ho
 use\, and more! We will also have live entertainment from local rock band 
 Goodnight Human beginning at 1 p.m.!\nAttendance is free\, but please regi
 ster\, as we would like an accurate headcount for the event. Register at:
