DESCRIPTION:\nSaturday\, August 22 at 10 AM\, Northampton Canal Park\, Nort
 hampton\n\n\n\nLeader: Martha Capwell\n\n\n\nThis walk begins in the small
  parking lot in Northampton Canal Park adjacent to the footbridge over the
  Hokendauqua Creek. Moving downstream\, it will feature still-visible elem
 ents of the Lehigh Navigation\, including an aqueduct\, the overgrown cana
 l prism\, the outlet lock\, and the guardlock 6/feeder gate complex. The w
 alk leader\, Martha Capwell\, will bring historic photos of this section o
 f the Navigation. The route of the walk will pass the North Catasauqua Tra
 il Head\, which gives walkers an option for putting a second vehicle near 
 the southern end of the walk route if they do not wish to complete the rou
 nd trip.\n\n\n\nTerrain: Trail is flat\, gravel-paved and well-shaded in
