SUMMARY:Hike to Alden Mountain Reservoir Creek
DESCRIPTION:Put on some green and let’s get outside! A moderate to strenu
 ous 3-mile hike to Alden Mountain in Nanticoke is planned for Saint Patric
 k’s Day weekend.\n\nPaula and Brian will lead us at an easy pace along t
 he varied terrain.  The first segment of the hike is uphill for approxima
 tely 300 feet and will be strenuous for inexperienced hikers and small chi
 ldren.  The trail opens up for some lovely scenic views\, and along Reser
 voir Creek we will see waterfalls. The area was once Earth Conservancy pro
 perty\, but is now under the protection of the State Forest.\n\nHikers are
  encouraged to wear sturdy shoes (bring hiking poles\, if you need them) a
 nd dress for winter/early spring weather.\n\nPlease arrive 15 minutes earl
 y for the hike begins promptly at 10:00 am. The hike will be cancelled if 
 there is inclement weather.\n\nThe participation is limit\, so don’t del
