DESCRIPTION:\n\nHarvest 5K Virtual Run/Walk\n\nRun or walk anywhere and any
 time between October 11-31\, 2020. All proceeds benefit the students of Ce
 ntral Elementary School in Allentown PA where every child receives a free/
 reduced lunch.\n\nOur aim is to raise $5000 to help replace benches and pi
 cnic tables on the school's playground. The playground is heavily used\, n
 ot only by the intercity school's 800 students\, but also by the community

  related to COVID-19\, Harvest 5K has made the painful decision to convert
  this year's run/walk event into a virtual event. No face to face racing w
 ill be held. Instead\, you get the freedom to finish the race anywhere and
  anytime between Oct 11-31.\n\nShirts and finisher's rewards are optional 
 to anyone who registers today. Deadline to register and still get a shirt 
 and reward is on Sep 30.\n\nBeneficiary\n\nAll proceeds will benefit the s
 tudents of the Central Elementary School of Allentown PA. Most of its stu
 dents are very poor with 89% of families classified as Low Income\, and ev
 eryone receives Free/Reduced Lunch. It serves a community with a poverty r
 ate of 38.64% of the City's population. (2013 Census)\n\nWe aim to raise $
 5\,000 to help restore the school's playground\, replace benches and picni
