DESCRIPTION:\nAbout First Strides\n\n\n\nDo you imagine yourself fit and st
 rong\, striding comfortably down the road during an easy workout or a 5-K 
 race?  First Strides® is a gradual 10-week program that will help you c
 omfortably progress to a healthy habit of walking\, jogging\, or running a
 t a pace that is right for you.\n\nFirst Strides® meets weekly\, please 
 come dressed for activity. Our workout program is formatted with:\n\n 	Loc
 al experts offering short fitness and wellness presentations on topics ran
 ging from nutrition to what to wear to injury prevention\n 	Gentle warm-up
  exercises\n 	Group walk/run (determined by pace)\n 	Post-work out stretch
 \n 	Tips\, techniques\, and guidance from group mentors\n\nOur mentors are
  First Strides® graduates\, Women’s 5K Classic committee members\, Le
 high Valley Road Runners (LVRR) members\, and more importantly\, fellow wo
 men who enjoy walking or running with you!\n\nWe run two programs during t
 he year\, a spring session that goes from late March to early June and a f
 all session that goes from late July to early October. You can participate
  on Tuesday evenings\, Wednesday evenings\, or both!\n\nWhere? As part of
  the Lehigh Valley Road Runners (LVRR)\, we meet and workout at the Lehigh
