SUMMARY:EMHR’s Ricketts Glen Day Hike
DESCRIPTION:Join Endless Mountains Heritage Region and visit Ricketts Glen 
 State Park on Saturday\, May\n9\, at 1 p.m. at 695 PA-487\, Benton\, PA 17
 814. Participants are asked to meet at the Cherry\nRun Trailhead for sign 
 in. Parking for this adventure can be found at Beach Parking lot #2\nwhich
  can be found by following Park Road after entering and passing the Ricket
 ts Glen\npark office.\n\nThe Cherry Run Loop is about 5.5 miles long and c
 onsidered moderate on AllTrails. The\nloop will take about 3 hours in tota
 l to complete. Participants will see Lake Leigh Dam along\nthe trail\, as 
 with a couple of smaller waterfalls. This trail may be muddy at this time 
 of year\,\nso please wear sensible shoes (hiking boots or comfortable snea
 kers) and dress for the\nweather. Make sure to bring enough water for the 
 duration of the hike.\n\nThough this event is free and open to the public\
 , EMHR asks if you plan to attend\, please\nregister by Thursday\, May 7\,
  for planning purposes.
