SUMMARY:St. Luke’s Hospice 9th Annual Charity Bike Ride
DESCRIPTION:Event registration is available the morning of the event from 8
 :30 to 9:45 am at the Lehigh Trailhead.\n\n\nREGISTER NOW\n\n\n\nThe Chari
 ty Bike Ride\, held each year in June\, combines fun and exercise with cha
 ritable giving. The family of a former hospice patient originated the even
 t in 2010 in appreciation of the care and support received from hospice. T
 he ride has evolved to more than 200 riders who gather on the Delaware &am
 p\; Lehigh (D&amp\;L) Bike Trail to celebrate the lives of family and frie
 nds they have lost. Year after year\, they honor their loved ones\, suppor
 t hospice and enjoy a beautiful day of biking on the along the picturesque
  Lehigh River.\n\nBike enthusiasts of all ability levels can participate i
 n either the 20 or 30-mile trail ride\, which begins on the D&amp\;L Natio
 nal Heritage Trail\, Lehighton Trailhead\, 200 North Main Lane\, Lehighton
 . The Annual Charity Ride raises funds and awareness of hospice care.\n\nB
 oth rides begin south of Jim Thorpe and traverse along riverbeds and the c
 anal towpath\, as well as some paved sections. Riders will see museums\, t
 he Appalachian Trail crossing\, environmental center and beautiful views o
 f the Blue Mountains\, Appalachian Trail and Lehigh Gap.\n\nThis is an app
 roved event of St. Luke’s “Get Your Tail on the Trail” program.\n\n
 Cost: $40 includes:\n\n 	Participation Bag\n 	Shirt\n 	Bike loan from Poco
 no Biking (if needed)\n
