SUMMARY:Bike Into Geological History
DESCRIPTION:Get Your Tail on the Trail is offering a free trail walking pro
 gram this year. Vary up your exercise routine and meet new people\, learn 
 new things\, and experience different areas of the D&amp\;L trail.  \n\nT
 his month's walk is actually a BIKE RIDE. Walkers will fall behind\, so gr
 ab that bike and push your comfort levels! Join us on a 4-mile bike ride a
 long the Saucon Rail Trail. Along the way\, we will look at how the landsc
 ape of the Lehigh Valley was sculpted over hundreds of millions of years b
 y geologic forces that have left their mark in the rocks around us\; from 
 ancient oceans to primeval swamps to iron furnaces and cement factories we
  will trace our geologic past and how it impacts our present. \n\nTrail L
 eader: Jeff Muchlin\, will meet with participants in the parking lot at Wa
 ter Street Park\, 90 W Water St\, Hellertown\, PA 18055\, on Sunday\, May
  13th @ 10 am. Rain date: May 28th @ 10 am. Duration of Ride: About 2 .5
  hours. \n\nAlthough these trail bike rides are free\, we do still ask th
 at you sign up for them so that we can control the number of people biking
 .  Riding with a group is fun\, energizing and social. We are limiting ou

  if it is expected to rain during the walk or if there were heavy rains le
 ading up to the walk that made the trail difficult to navigate.
